Recent history of the Elves in Barovia

Greetings,

I'm lookin for someone who can, either IC or OOC, give or otherwise point to information regarding the recent history of the Elves in Barovia. My character has been picking lots of pieces of stories and stuff, such as the affair with Lord Soth and something I saw refereced as the Rebelion or Uprising or something like it. But none of the PCs I've been comming across seems to know anything about it. I assume, if nothing else, at least one of the NPC residents of Degannwy would be able to give me a more complete account than the one Lorelei gives when you speak to her, no?
