Many long streaks and cuts mark the floorboards and stone of the Drain, the result of a wandering wretch and warp of a man a few have decided to call "Scar" trailing an immense cleaver through its hallways, conducting mute business and limited conversation.
Conjured Characters:
Psito Shardloc: The gnome with rock candy for hands.
Ostap Dappenof: A "plain and simple barber."
       Mutil'iq (Dead?): The wandering,wretch of a soul.
       Kumar Gajrup Dhananjay: Rajian warrior

A woman in red, rumored to be a vampire, is seen frequenting the drain. Though respectful to those there, she keeps to herself.

Word spreads quickly that the backroom door man, Big Bronkus has scheduled a "Runt Fight" in the back of the Drain. All bets taken. Title match is between Unk and Biter. Fight will be in the next few days.

Vague and whispered rumors in the Drain suggest that the smuggler known as Dumas Rilfore has been asking around certain informed ears about meeting with the Gundarakite Rebels he once worked with months ago. Hearsay also suggests that in repentance for a past misdeed, Dumas is prepared to bequest a shipload of ten pistols, along with suitable bags of gunpowder and ammunition for the Rebel cause if only they will speak with him...

//Would greatly appreciate it if a DM or PC Rebel would seek Dumas out. Working on following up some player RP

Strange folk have been seen frequenting the Drain tavern and back rooms. Hushed conversation is heard concerning "Bloody Eyes", ritualistic magic and the "Ancient River". Rumors spread of a new prophet, a savior who will guide the wretched, welcome the forshaken and protect the abused. This savior has been referred to as the "Dark Messiah".

A knight in shining armor, in company of Ezrite anchorites stormed the Drain last night in search of a mysterious shadow that has been terrorizing the surface. Words say that the freak known as "Sevik" was harrased and threatened by the group of topsiders.

Long silent the drain has been... however rumor has it that a bright young fiery spirit is emerging from the cold dark sewers. A blue symbol of hope. Some call him Micahjah... others Cage. Disgusted by the treatment of his kind, it is rumored that this Caliban youth seeks to fight for the protection of Caliban. Armed with a sling in hand and nobility in his heart; he is determined to fight the evils of genocidal religious groups and fanatical dwarves. No matter what the cost...

Anastacia the Grey Wizard has been seen in the Drain; rumour has it she is looking to trade information on recent events...

The name "Cage" has often gone around the drain amongst various caliban some with affection, others with rolling eyes. It appears "The Cage" has been leaving out charities for the caliban now... potions, weapons, food, cloth, and some times armor. Letters stating that he is here to help and provide for the children of the drain and the caliban who are persecuted solely on their appearance alone.

A towering, old and weary Barovian priest has made his way to the Drain today. Going by the name of Barbat, the burly old man was seen speaking with a few calibans, most notably the one in the dark room behind Big Bronkus. After a bit, the old man performed the Rites of Dawn just outside the Drain's entrance to a group of curious and cynical Drain onlookers, outside Gol's doorway. Claiming that he would hold rites to the Morninglord each week, in order to bring hope to the Sewer Dwellers and the message of Dawn, the old man left, promising to return next week.

A slender well spoken Drow has been seen lurking around the drain, Not sure how he came here and why this is not the underdark is all very confusing to him. He mainly spends his time drining at the bar talking with Nym and Hoth.

With the murder of a Garda, some have become abuzz about the event and the implications it might have.  Some have gone as far as thinking about picking up shop and moving elsewhere with their fang, due to the looming threat that the Garda might seek retribution for this act.  What is in store for the Drainfolk?  Has the newcomer Caliban Fredek and her gang kicked the wrong hornet's nest?

The Sewerfolk seem on edge lately. Armed brutes have been seen near the entrance. Sneaky runts scout the tunnels. Everyone seems on edge concerning rumors of the Greencloak's kidnapping one of the gang bosses. Some call for war others call for peace. The future remains uncertain.

An elf associated with the wayfarer kinship was seen holding a human female, suspected to be a former drow slave but newly arrived in the mists at arrow point in the sanctuary of the coming dawn west of valaki, despite there being no legitimate crimes committed or foul acts undertaken by the human female blood thirsty threats were made toward her and those with her on account of the armor she wore and the marks cruelly branded into her skin. Her companions named her "Rose".

Various rumors may circulate within the dank, damp air of the Drain regarding the Black Leaf. Some may have noticed that the Black Leaf's ranks have been thinned. Some speculate that many within their ranks remain in the shadows, while others are based in other Black Leaf camps in far off lands. Regardless, if it is true that the Black Leaf ranks have thinned over the recent winter, what is evident and true to the naked eye is that the All-Girth has done anything but become thin. The tanarukk's appetite is insatiable, and upon each Black Leaf's return to the Drain from far off lands, their skull-trophies and treasure speak truth of swelling Black Leaf power.

The Black Leaf: a tribe of tanarukk, orc, drow, duergar, fey'ri, and tielfing. Some say that Resker Knives offered the Black Leaf a role within his own ranks of the Sewer Dwellers, alongside Skinny Fredek and his Fangs, Fero and his Wrongborns, and most recently, Pale and his Shunned.  However, just as it was with the Blood Rain Mountain Tribe that arrived years ago in the Drain, led by the fierce tanarukk known as Rudd, the Black Leaf seem to use the Drain merely as a camp for whenever in the area, preferring the wild, open air of mountains, forests, and deserts, where it is rumored the Black Leaf have tucked away camps.

No, rather than bend a proud knee to Resker Knives, the Firstborn, the All-Girth, of the Black Leaf formed an alliance. The All-Girth has often been heard proclaiming in her usual boisterous voice: "As the Black Leaf's beast feeds and grows in power, so too will the Sewer Dwellers revel in the feast that feeds our common beast!"  And so it was that the Black Leaf came to lease the east-wing and room, where the strong odor of brimstone lingers. It is also true that while many caliban and faction has come and gone, the Black Leaf have endured.

The Black Leaf have never been known to openly recruit, for whatever reason. But many a caliban has witnessed the Black Leaf accept recruits into what is called the "Ring of Fire," the Black Leaf's outer circle of power, where each is tested over time through many a battle, by muscle or guile.

Not long ago, a woman who has announced herself prior as a 'Luminita' was seen entering the drain with a large, bleeding sack over her back. She met with one of the underbosses, and while no details of that meeting were leaked, the human Luminta could be seen leaving in the morning with the bloody corpse of recent trouble-maker Tarmes over her shoulder in place of the bag, as if showing off her kill.

"Skinny" is seen leaving The Drain with a full backpack. He's heard saying that he will be gone for several days on "private business".

The latest rumor is than an attempted ambush on the traitor twist Zahlia (attempting to show what happens to traitors) went terribly wrong, costing the lives of at least two caliban, including Crew Boss Bors, who lost a hand in the conflict despite outnumbering their victim six to one.

Posters go up rather quickly throughout the Drain.

" A man calling himself 'The Red Dragon' that wears a black dragon mask, likely human, is in possession of a scythe known as 'Murderous Intent'. Twenty Thousand fang to the one that brings me that weapon. An additional twenty for his head.
