Auto-Quicken feat & auto-quickened 1rd spells:

1: I tested a few spells (Chain lightning, bigbys), certainly not all of them, but seems the auto-quicken feat actually doesn't do the "quickening" of the spell
2: Auto-quickened & auto-quickened 1rd spells provoke Attacks of Opporturnity, as opposed to how it is described both in nwn-wiki and SRD

I've fixed this. Can you try again on the test server?

I tested the quicken-feat and the auto-quickened spells, they seem to work now, I receive no more Attacks of Opporturnity from enemies in melee atleast on my tests. Others may confirm of course.

After some testing around in the test server, I can confirm many of the points people have already made.

Arcane Channeling functions oddly:

1. The first touch-attack spell cast on your melee weapon stays on the weapon for some ingame hours and applies the spell's effect on each succesful melee strike
2. Only the first "queued" spell on your melee weapon strikes the enemy ( 9/10 times this is the case, in some odd exceptions one of the subsequent queued-up spells on your weapon also trigger?)

I've found the cause of the first bug. After further investigation, multiple On Hit: Spells can't fire at the same time. However, with bug #1 fixed, the second On Hit Spell will trigger right after the first one has ended.

After some brief testing again regarding Arcane-Channeling, I found something quirky:

1: I had created my 1st test character and leveled them up until 20 yesterday. For this character the spell "queueing"  seems to work in all cases: You can queue-up multiple spells on your melee weapon and they trigger their effects in order, listed in the weapon and "disperse" after a succesful strike. This seems to work with both normal melee-attacks & whirlwind attack (probably, I didin't test everything as thoroughly as one might)

2: I created a 2nd character to test spesifically the whirlwind behaviour under lvl 13 arcane-channeling: My new test character still seems to have the 1st bug listed in the original observation. The "imbued" touch spells on their melee weapons will not disperse until some hours, you can infinitely trigger the spell on enemies. Furthermore, as I took whirlwind-attack at lvl 6, the attack WILL damage all enemies around you with the spell-effect, as opposed how it was intended to work only after the upgraded lvl 13 Arcane-channeling feat.

The fixes haven’t been loaded on the test server for all spells yet. It’s best to wait until the next version is loaded to test again.

Unfortunately we won't open it up to divine casters.

Crazy.

I downloaded the newest updates and tried again, I even created a new character.

Certainly something quirky, my lvl 20 character that I made over a week ago does not have any problems. But the two newer characters, including a new character I made today still have the "bugs" I mentioned in my earlier post:

- Spells wont "disperse" after a succesful melee hit, hence you may keep the "on-hit" spell property for multiple hours
- Whirlwind before lvl 13 will affect all enemies with the "on-hit" property

Also, I noticed a new issue: you can't cast "Ghoul Touch" -spell on your character unlike other touch-spells.

Thanks for testing again. I've loaded a fix for this. Can you tell me if it reoccurs, or if you encounter new anomalies?

Thanks for updating and all the hard work!

Results so far as I've checked things out:

 1. Whirlwind attack prior to lvl 13 Arcane Channeling -upgrade seems to now work as intended, only damaging 1 enemy in your melee range. This is the case 9 out of 10 times, there is probably some quirky innate behaviour related to whirlwind attack and on-hit property, sometimes it triggers on more enemies than just 1, but this doesn't happen very often atleast.

 2. The "imbued" spells on your weapons seem to now reliably disperse after a succesful melee hit, I have tested with two different characters old and a newer one, it seems to work.

 3. Ghoul touch -spell still can't be targeted on your character, you need to target your weapon

 4. The new "Chill Touch" -spell. When casted normally, it does as the spell-description says and does 1d6 negative damage per amount of attacks your character has. However, when you try to "imbue" your character/weapon with this spell, it only does 1d6 negative damage once after a succesful melee hit even if my character would have 3 attacks per round which would mean if I understand the spell description right: melee damage from weapon + 3 x 1d6 negative damage

And purely personal and an aesthetical point: It would be cool, after you "imbue" your weapon with a spell it would gain the elemental visual effect on your weapon similar to the varnishes.

That's normal, the fix is ready but requires another version of the hak. It'll be fixed when the hak goes live.
