What is the Issue:
As stated in the title, the invocation Voracious Dispelling seems to be currently unable to dispel other characters AoE effects.
The invocation works as intended when used on a singular target and for dispelling the casters own AoEs.

Recreating the Issue:
Trying to dispel any AoE that is not created by yourself, such as a blade barrier cast by a mummy lord, or a friendly PCs stinking cloud.

Idea:

NWN on uses a formula for dispelling AOE that differs from the calculation used for single target dispels.
Quote from the NWN wiki page detailing dispel mechanics (https://nwn.fandom.com/wiki/Dispel#Area_of_effects):
Quote
Area of effects

For an area of effect, the effect's creator and creatures possessed by Dungeon Masters (and Dungeon Masters themselves) automatically succeed in dispelling it. All others make the equivalent of the following check

Dispeller's caster level + dispeller's ability modifier + bonus  vs.  2 * (creator's ability modifier) + 20 + d100

The bonus is

    25 for lesser dispel,
    50 for dispel magic,
    75 for greater dispelling,
    100 for Mordenkainen's disjunction,
and
an additional 30 if the dispeller is a non-player character.

My theory is that voracious dispelling does not have a "bonus modifier" such as the other spells, which makes it incredibly unlikely if not outright impossible to succeed on a AoE dispel check.
If this is in fact the issue, the bonus for voracious dispelling should be set to 50 like dispel magic, its standard spell equivalent.

+1 I've never been able to dispel someone else's AOE with voracious dispelling. You'd think in the grand scheme of things that I'd have dispelled at least one by now after playing the character almost a year, so something's gotta be up.

idk if voracious dispelling should have an equal chance to dispel as Dispel Magic considering the caster's investment is lesser. It costs you time just like dispel magic, but it doesn't cost you a spell slot.

It functions like dispel magic in every other way, so why should it differ in that regard?
Especially since the main draw of voracious dispelling is that you can AoE dispel, not just single target dispel as the other two invocations.
It does not cost a spell slot yes, welcome to warlock, a small selection of less powerful spells but indefinite use of them, that is the tradeoff.
spending 1 of 3 invocations on that level to be able to do just that, AoE dispels, is a significant investment.

Don't worry full arcane caster will still reign supreme in the matter of dispelling, due to them having access to greater dispel, wall of (greater) dispelling and disjunction.
All more powerful variants of dispel magic, warlocks do not have access to.

yes correct.
dispel magic is a less powerful version of dispel.
it is infact the second worst dispel spell in the game and voracious dispelling is modeled after it.
