Since this is a forum bug, I'm not sure whether it can be fixed:

I used the "Mark Unread" feature on this post, but it did not seem to have any effect. When I look at my unread posts, it does not show up.

In response to your post, I tested some more.  If I click "mark unread" on a post, and then click at the top of the forum "Show unread posts since last visit" (my usual method of reading the forum), I am told I have no unread posts. If, however, I then "click here to try all unread topics," it does show the post I've marked as unread.

Not intuitive, but now that I am aware of it, all good.

Is it also possible to fix that they can't be empowered/maximized or is that intended?

I'll look into it.

Any news about this? It was referring to the Shadow Conjuration line of spells, including the Greater one.

I'm fairly certain this has been fixed with the hak. I suggest you test on the test server.

I just tested it. It looks like quicken spell, extend spell, still spell and silent spell are all working as intended with the Shadow Conjuration line. Empowered and maximized still aren't working, the metamagic'd versions just don't show up. I tested on two characters at lvl 20, one sorcerer and one wizard.

I'll change it so you can apply all metamagic feats to Shadow Conjuration/Greater Shadow Conjuration/Shades, however it'll let people apply them even if they have no effect on a specific subspell.

A couple of small new/persistent bugs related to emotes:

- @emote 27 (hands clasped behind back) breaks on certain characters and becomes a sort of fighting emote. I haven't found a way to revert this yet.

- @emote list under the new hak lists @emote 51 as "victory" and @emote 52 as "lean on wall." These are, in fact, reversed in game: 51 is lean, and 52 is victory.

I'll fix the @emote 51/52 mix up in the list.

Would you be able to provide a screenshot or video of @emote 27? I can't recreate it.

Sure thing. See the spoiler below. Currently, the emote for me begins at Figure A (which is correct) but immediately spins a 360 and flows into Figure B, which flows with a slashing motion into Figure C (the finale of the slash), then falls back into the combat-rest stance of Figure D. The animation then spins another 360 and flows back to Figure B, bypassing Figure A entirely, and repeats on loop until it's cancelled. I know the whole thing is a little hard to put together from still images, but it's basically arms behind back -> immediate spin -> duelist's ready pose 1 -> slash -> duelist's ready pose 2 -> spin -> duelist's pose 1 -> etc.

If it helps, my character has had @animation 3 set for his combat for a long time. However, reverting back to the default doesn't fix this bug; @emote 27 remains broken.

Thanks for fixing 51 and 52!

Thanks for the detailed report. I'm unable to recreate this on the test server with the same combination (emote 27/animation 3). Do you have any overrides or are you subscribed to Steam workshops?

Nope, none that I'm aware of! I've tried downloading the POTM haks for module/item design a few times but can't get them to install properly. Could it be a corrupted file somewhere on my end?

Local hacks can interfere with nwsync.  It's a long shot, but try tossing out the haks and see if it still persists.

There are two of the 'black spots' that have been in the lobby of the Governor's for some time, if it's a me thing though, just let me know. I've played around with some settings but they're always there, even if you stand around for a time.

Don't know if this is on purpose or part of the area, but having a full on boiler in houlgraves basement seems a bit of a weird choice, might just be me, who knows Houlgraves might just be testing out new sciences and such

Thank you both for the help with this. I tried @emote 27 on my other characters and wasn't able to duplicate the bug, so it seems like it's something tied to Vandryn's character data. At this point, kicking that hornet's nest is probably more trouble than it's worth, so I'll happily let this drop. I'm just glad it isn't some latent server-wide issue.
