A Statement on Culture
« on: June 21, 2024, 12:02:19 PM »
Due to my inability to attend the upcoming debate because of scheduling conflicts I have decided to participate in the simple way of publicizing my thoughts below.

In my opinion it is not only important but imperative that the Government of our Republic support not only the growth of culture, but also it's understanding, to all those who are willing to learn and embrace it.

Particularly when it comes to those of our people who are less fortunate of means, it is important that all who wish are able to experience one of the stronger pillars of our society.

Unlike History - which is often written by those with the most power and influence - culture springs forth from every corner, every nook and cranny of our nation, and it should have its chance to shine regardless of what side of the city it comes from.

It is my hope, at the very least, that this debate encourages those who may otherwise feel that they do not have an opportunity to share or promote their own works to do so.
