Eneko bugs/mechanical issues
« on: April 14, 2024, 02:04:40 AM »
Now, I'm certain most of these are hardcoded issues, and one is mechanically accurate but I will bring them up nonetheless.

THE PROBLEMS WITH LARGE SIZE

1. You cannot hotbar a large weapon with an offhand weapon in the same slot, so to do two weapon fighting you must equip from your inventory.

2. You cannot wield tiny weapons. This is accurate to sourcebooks and 3.5, and should not be changed. It does mean you're locked out of holdables like books and daggers, this leads me to a curious issue I did not expect

3. Eneko cannot engage in leatherworking. This is because the skinning knife must be equipped to use. As far as I can tell there is no way around this.

I don't think any of these can be fixed, and the use of tiny weapons should not be allowed since they are large. Technically they'd be able to with powerful build but these are the concessions we must make.

As far as using the hotbar, you can put a two hander in two different slots then use the radial menu on the slot to equip main hand and equip offhand instead of opening your inventory.

I'll make an oversized curing knife.

I'm not sure, but wouldn't the smithing hammer also have the same issue?

Thanks MAB!

Also no, light hammers are small. Only weapons that take up a 1x1 space are tiny.
