with the recent (brief) discussion about visual accessibility with the default (and current alternate) forum themes i thought i would have a look for some dark mode options and see if they could possibly be added as theme alternatives! the three i'll list below should work with the current version of simplemachines we use!! i hope the team will consider adding one

I like the blood red we've got, but these dark themes are very easy on the eyes as well. I only see it being a positive to include them as options.

Darkmodes would be nice the blood red is hard for me to read without taking it slowly.

+1 to this. It's been echoed for a long time that the red on red isn't easy on the eyes. While that isn't true for everyone, if it's true for even one person we should provide an alternative.

I looked into the aforementioned blackrain theme and it could work but the icon would have to be redesigned. I'll see if we can easily work on it to implement it as an alternative.

I don�t mind the icon looking wonky in the meantime if I�m being honest. The themes above make the forum look a lot better imo.

This really is a non issue If that's the only holdup then it's not a holdup cause no one is gonna care about a slightly wonky icon if it lets them see the content better.

Thanks for the help but Krosenq was able to adapt the logo. I've added Blackrain as an alternate forum theme.
