The Guild Exostra welcomes you to a night of entertainment of the fighting variety! On the day of March 9th the Gold and Gossamer will host it's first "Fist and Foot Fighting" championship! Anyone* who thinks they've got a mean set of knuckles and a thousand extra solars in their pockets is welcome.

Interested fighters should submit their desire for entry in a notice written to Ljot Solvor, Thane of Exostra and left at the Gold and Gossamer or other known Guild Exostra members. Fees will be collected day of event. The winner of the day will be given the opportunity to fight "The Champion of Exostra", a mysterious fighter who, if defeated, will net you an additional five thousand Solars and a night of free drinks coupon, as well as the title of champion for the next fight night.

Drinks will be available for purchase and space opened up for interested parties to still relax or mingle. Combat rules can be found attached to this notice.

The Guild Exostra looks forward to welcoming you for an exciting night!

Fighting Rules

Basic Rules:

Turn Order (initiative): Each fighter starts the match with a [DEX] or [CHA] roll. The higher roll will be the first to roll an attack, and then the fighters will take turns back and forth until the fight is over.

Attacking - Attacker rolls [STR] or [DEX]. Defender rolls [DEX] or [CON]

If the attacker's [STR] or [DEX] roll is higher than their opponent's [DEX] or [CON] roll, they land the blow and get a point. If the defender's [DEX] or [CON] roll is higher, the attack is defended against and no point is awarded.

General Knockouts - Scoring three consecutive hits against your opponent, while taking no hits yourself. The defender rolls a knockout check. (see below)

Critical Knockouts - When attacking with [STR], if the attackers roll is 15 (or higher) than the defender's roll, the defender rolls a knockout check. (see below)

Knockout check: Roll [CON] + [WIS] for a combined DC of 30. Rolling a combined 29 or lower is a failure.

Point Victory - Each round lasts until a fighter lands three blows, with a point given to the first fighter to do so. The winner is the one who scores best of three rounds (2 of 3)

Knockout victory - Knockouts automatically end the round in favor of the one who scored it. The downed opponent can decide if they wish to "tap out" or not.
