They represent various aspects of the natural world, such as mountains, rivers, trees, animals, and even natural phenomena like storms and volcanic eruptions. Shamans with a nature kami as their patron can call upon the elements to help them travel swiftly or to impede and strike down their foes. This particular package is also a zen archer shaman build. Sorcerers with a touch of the upper planes in their ancestry are among the rarest in the Lands of the Mists. Their blessed heritage enables them to face the dark forces of the land with the light and power of the Upper Planes at their command. Few will ever know of their true heritage. For the most part, they will be the descendants of other celestial-blooded sorcerers once trapped by the Mists with the knowledge of their ancestry lost throughout the ages. But their powers remain manifest and some even ascribe theirs to the influence of divinities in the same way favored souls are chosen. However incorrect this assumption may be, the fact is there is no one around to correct them of their hubris. Sorcerers bearing the bloodlines of dragons are usually recent arrivals to the Demiplane of Dread. To the natives, these beasts are often thought of only as mythical beings or as being extinct. The few wyrms that might actually be found within the dread domains are dangerous and do not suffer the presence of other sentient races. They do not pass their draconic heritage into mortal's bloodlines. Draconic bloodlines usually grant their inheritors with powers emulating a measure of their ancestor's abilities and affinity with a particular element. This particular package especially befits those of brass, gold, or red dragon ancestry. Many of their suggested spells are tied to the element of fire. The spell selection may be adjusted as needed to reflect a different draconic ancestry.

Fey-blooded is possibly the most common of sorcerous bloodlines in the Lands of the Mists. Sylvan and shadow fey beings can be found in most domains and tales of their dealings with mortals abound in the songs of bards. These sorcerers may have fey ancestry themselves, or simply be the last inheritor of a power bequeathed through an ancient pact with a powerful fey being. Fey-blooded sorcerers are not overtly marked by their ancestry but subtle telltale signs may exist in their physical features or behavior.

An all too common blight in the Lands of the Mists. People lusting for powers have concluded pacts with fiendish beings, both infernal or abyssal, and sold their souls since times immemorial. None ever got what they expected from those deals but the consequences on one's bloodline are undeniable. This is the same bloodline that occasionally produces tieflings, though some are nominally luckier than others and only acquire the powers of sorcerers rather than be marked by their fiendish ancestry with gruesome deformities. Sorcerers with this ancestry usually have an affinity for destructive spells.

Among the depraved or despaired souls entering pacts with eldritch entities are those lusting for powers over death. The price paid is always too high and Death claims its due sooner than later. Some others might simply have had a close brush with death with life-stealing undead leaving an indelibile mark on them. Whatever the cause, the taint remained over their bloodlines and was passed down to their current inheritors. Marked by Death, sorcerers with such a bloodline have a natural affinity for necromancy. Like any other sorcerous bloodline, this one does not necessarily leave any physical mark on a sorcerer, but it is not uncommon for them to be of gaunt appearance or to be uncharacteristically cold to the touch.

This package is intended for half-vistani sorcerers but is usable by any sorcerers focusing on enchantments and misted magic. The enigmatic raunies of the Vistani are well known to possess the Sight and the Evil Eye, mystical abilities allowing them to predict the future and lay potent curses on those that wronged them. Not everyone of Vistani blood will develop these gifts, but when it comes to magical abilities, powers of divination and enchantment do come easily to them. Sorcerers of Vistani ancestry often develop a limited aptitude to control the Mists as well.
