Welcome to our Packages Roleplay Resources section

You'll find here the complete details about the character packages offered at character creation.
Note that this is the collective effort of numerous members of our community for which we are enormously grateful.

The packages are pre-defined templates that automatically assign stats, skill points, feats, and spell selection using the recommended button on level-ups so that you may quickly level up and resume roleplay. It is well-acknowledged that the packages of the original game were bad. On Prisoners of the Mists, we replaced them all with the hope of making them decent and useful. They are intended for newcomers and veteran players alike. If you are looking for a character concept to play and get inspired by one of the entries below, then these packages are for you and will save you time on level-ups so that you may quickly resume play.

Each entry provides a brief description of what a package is about, and a set of proposed skills, feats, and spells (for spontaneous casters) fitting the template. The skills and feats are presented in the order they will be offered from levels 1 to 20. Remember that packages are merely suggestions, you will remain free at all times to deviate from the proposed options.

Do note that these packages were primarily made for human characters as they start with a higher number of skill points and feats. They should remain valid for any non-human races, but those characters will start with fewer skills points, and feats.

This the default Barbarian template, representing a wide range of concepts from the traditional berserker to the rugged pit-fighter. The barbarian harnesses uncontrollable rage, becoming a relentless force of destruction on the battlefield. Fueled by primal instincts, they wield massive greatswords with unmatched strength, charging fearlessly into combat with an aura of unstoppable might, their berserk state granting them superhuman endurance and ferocious fighting prowess.

These packages do not give any special abilities to your character, they simply configure your skills and feats so you don't have to.

The Archer bard is a master of both melody and marksmanship, seamlessly blending musical artistry with deadly precision. Armed with a bow and a repertoire of enchanting songs, they weave harmonies that bolster allies and deliver haunting melodies that cripple enemies, proving that their music is as lethal as their arrows on the battlefield. The mechanical requirements for the Arcane Archer prestige class, except for the racial restriction, are built into this package.

These packages do not give any special abilities to your character, they simply configure your skills and feats so you don't have to.

Such a bard is also able to move about with guile and stealth when discretion is required. They fight with finesse, rapier and shield in hands. The mechanical requirements for the application-restricted Shadowdancer prestige class are built into this package.

Sling and shield in hands, and with a repertoire of enchanting songs, they weave harmonies that bolster allies and deliver haunting melodies that cripple enemies, proving that their music is as lethal as their bullets on the battlefield. This package is a variation on the Archer Bard, trading a bit of stealth and damage output for greater defensive capabilities. It is particularly suggested to halfling bards wishing to capitalize on their natural affinity with slings.

The Anchorite is a cleric of Ezra, the Guardian in the Mists. According to most traditions in the church, Ezra was a virtuous mortal woman who, despairing of the evils of the world, forever surrendered her mortality to the Mists to become an eternal guardian of mankind. The fractious sects of the Church of Ezra have been debating the true nature and teachings of their ascended patron for decades. Anchorites are tasked with protecting and healing her faithful, keeping them safe from evil, and opposing the legions of the Mists of Death. This package is a battle cleric built, heavily armored, and fighting with longswords. It is granting the Mists & Destruction clerical domains and eventually the Misted Magic feat for its synergy with the bonus spells granted by those domains. While it was tailored specifically for clerics of Ezra, this template can also be applied to clerics of any other deities granting the Destruction clerical domain.
