I'll add @lfdm show to see your own LFDM requests, and when logging back in, you'll be informed you have a pending request.

Make the examine command work on @marks, so that the text from marks can be preserved in the log.

Good idea.

Both of these have now been implemented.

How about a merchant basket that takes an extra 5 seconds to recover over the norm?

Would help give just a bit more time to react to thieves/greifers

That's already the case actually.

Simply put,
A dialog option where the pc talking to the merchant just hits sell all in the trading table and it makes the appropriate rolls and what not against feats and everything to just wipe the whole table and give you the coin.

Same way that the furs table works in vallaki.

this could be exploited extremely easily by anyone just walking up to the merchant while you're in the trading table and hitting this command. i don't think it's a good idea.

Yeah, it's a neat idea but I can see it going wrong a little too easily.

I shant name where I got this idea, but:

Additional tool-bars, or rather multiple toolbars that could be utilized like the nwn standard ones on your screen. Mind you, even the ones I got the idea from (spesific server) don't work without glitches.

But, an idea nontheless. I find especially on my spell-casting characters that the 3 available toolbar slots are at premium. Spells, items, feats.

Might be a bit complicated system to create however.

There is already a command for this @Hotbar 1-9 Can even hotbar a command to swap hotbars.

Ah yes, I can see how it works. Thanks for letting me know!

But my original intention was more akin to how quickbars are like in NWN 2 perhaps.

Multiple toolbars, horizontal, vertical. And I can choose however many I have on the screen, at which position of the screen space it occupies and can activate any of the toolbar slots with a mouse-click, or even with a number-combination if we go that far.

There are several caster friendly hotbar NUI things on the Vault, always wondered why at least one of them was never implemented.  It would be a huge QOL improvement.

Love the broken bell updates, but could the arm chairs near the fire be moved closer together to be in whisper distance or could a third be added in the middle for some nice tavern QOL?

Please consider putting the current date/time in the combat log when you first login or failing that, enter an area.

The date/time can be seen if hovered over the compass.  It is also printed to the combat log if you click on the compass.  Incase that meets your use case.

The idea is to save people time from having to do that.  Especially when you first log in.  It's not the end of the world, but its a very easy to implement QOL thing.

If we could have it so that one can rent things like warehouse 4 in Vallaki, or the Ballroom or the fairgrounds and have a rental of the same type, that'd be grand. Having to vacate a warehouse for the fairgrounds which can only be rented for 3 days is silly. Even sillier when it's warehouse 4 in Vallaki or the ballroom in the governor's hotel.

Rental systems could do with these tweaks

Much needed:

@spawn:
 - allow cycling selection through existing placeables - this is because of difficulties in selecting some placeables by hand
 ie.
 >if placeables are stacked on each other sometimes you can't remove one without first removing a few others
 >for large (>=3) values of positive or negative z, sometimes it's impossible to select the placeable at all
 >for placeables stacked on top existing rental placeables, sometimes it's impossible to select the placeable at all

@music
 - make possible to display the list of tunes - seems like theres over 300 of those, and there also holes in the numbering, cycling through all is unnecessarily problematic

Nice to have:
 - make @music persist over resets
 - make it possible to remove existing by default placeables within the rental - a canny decorator will often guise them beneath @spawn'ed placeables, but it would be much easier to be able to remove
- make it possible do set usable/unusable property before placeable is spawned (usable are easier to target)

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. @spawn is used to spawn placeables. Do you want to modify or destroy placeables?

We could add a @music list command but it'd just print out a list of 400+ music track names. I'm not sure such a list could even fit in the combat log, and what use would it be?

Quote
- make @music persist over resets

This is a good idea but won't be implemented for now since it'd likely break all existing rentals. If we make more substantial changes to the rental system, we'll incorporate it.

Quote

Those are part of the tileset and can't be removed in-game. When possible we design rentals without tileset furniture as much as possible.

Quote
- make it possible do set usable/unusable property before placeable is spawned (usable are easier to target)

This is already the case; type @spawn useable 1 before spawning the placeable.

1 - Brother, may I have some Oaks
Nharov Oak and Oak are both used at similar times in woodworking, grow in the same areas, and have an identical appearance.
It'd be nice if they could have some visual distinction to avoid stepping on each others toes when trying to handle them in-inventory - even just flipping the art for them.

2 - Make Navarre More Organised
The NPC Navarre in the shack in the western outskirts gives a quest for elytra and mandibles. Let him have all my elytra, as they are worthless, but my mandibles are far more valuable when traded or used for alchemy. At the moment, the only solution is to drop all your mandibles all over the floor like some common outlander, then trigger his dialogue.
I suggest that Navarre, as a good environmentalist, should separate his boxes (dialogue) for elytra and mandibles, so you can easily keep the alchemy bits if you want.

3 - In Barovia, Shields Come In Bags
As they're a supply component and commonly made in bulk, giving Pavel a 'bundle of large shield templates' much like Dimitry has bags of all sorts of templates would save us beginner woodworkers some carpal tunnel.

@background

Prints to screen the two char backhrounds.

After having made a new character, a player may want later to see the selections he made.

A few more 'temporary rentals' would be neat for one-off events (and some that are not limited access, like the Broken Bell Theatre). A lecture hall at the university would be neat, so that students could set up props and demonstrations. Maybe some sort of grove thing, somewhere? A function room at The Midway Haven for parties? An abandoned barn in Edrigan?
Being able to flex your creativity and back it up with props (without having to hassle a DM) is nice. Not having the obligation of a long-term rental is also nice.

I like this idea. The placeables system is very rich with different opportunities/resources that can add some extra flair to player-hosted events. Having temp rentals in locations where slightly higher OCR characters (elves, dwarves, etc.) could rent them would be nice. (Midway, the University, and Edrigan are all good candidates for this, within reason and depending on the type of event, of course.) The temporary status also sounds relatively safe: they wouldn't add extra stress on the server when not in use, and even when in use, there'd only be a short-term additional demand on server resources. Finally, it'd democratize chances for more of the playerbase to use rentals and the placeables system for events. Seems positive all around.
