.. I think that post got a little mangled, I had a hard time following it.

Anyways all I'm suggesting is that the Ravenloft dwarf section link to the asgardian/norse pantheon for easy reference :)

heh...oops. Fixed.

Anyhow, I am rethinking how to present the information there. Though need to check something with the team first.

It is important to remember that a Ravenloft native is not limited to Ravenloft faiths. All the faiths of the multiverse could be encountered in the Mists. A player may have been influenced by an outlander priest, or its family may still cling to whatever power an ancestor worshipped upon being misted. I'll add a note about that.

I just want to clarify that this statement is incorrect. Our rules restrict deities to supported deities of the setting of origin (this applies to other classes that require a deity):

- Clerics must worship a deity (or equivalent) from their setting and have cleric domains given by that deity, as listed on the forums.

Just for the records it's been clarified further what is allowed for natives.

Archdevils, demon lords, and shamanism have been added under the "Ravenloft Section", and valid non-human faiths are now listed in the "Minor and Non-Human Religions" section.

Lining for armor that gives disguise.

Uncap influence synergy with disguise and allow ranks from gear boost it as well.  Make enchanted silk disguise gear great.  It’s very easy to pierce disguises and at the moment enchanted disguise clothes simply are not worth it.

Not a fan of all the class locked equipment around. Breaks my immersion, really.

(UMD is itself a silly skill - non-arcanist classes are better at using magical devices than arcanist classes. But that matches pnp I suppose.)

I love the new dance emote we got in the last update.

However, it clips oddly and the animations look like 2 seperate dances clipped into one.  It starts with fluid ballet motions and then erupts into a fiery dance with a lot of sliding and rope pulling motions.

It's extremely fun, but the first slow and graceful movements never loop again, and if we wanted to do ballet or other slow dances, it would fit better.

It feels a bit like 2 emotes tangled into one and if we could seperate them and get both, that would be fantastic.

I would also like to have Whirlwind Attack ad an emote.

Perhaps more ranks in Perform could unlock additional emotes, so there is a mechanical reason to invest in it if you are not a bard?

+1 to these. Please make the slow fluid one it's own thing even if it loops oddly.

A little expansion to the @lfrp command that allows you to insert some text about the type of rp you're looking for, not unlike the @lfdm one.

So instead of typing on a lfrp character on a list and get  :Lionelscu Messiescu is in lfrp mode. Current area : Barovia - Vallaki - Western outskirts.

You'l click on the character name and get: Lionelscu Messiescu is in is lfrp more. RP Theme : Turnipball tournament rp. Current Area : Barovia - Vallaki - Western outskirts.

Or something of that nature.

Would like to have a few more halberd models on the server, specifically more models for a long spear (rather than just a guandao or a naginata). Perhaps a cross spear, yari, or even a swordstaff.
Active Character: Heian, Catilia Calostin
Other Character(s): Gilraine Alean'ani, Lia Lanthaloran, Liu Suyin
Shelved Character(s): Vinyafael Yavanna
Closured Character(s): Rakel Leviken, Celeste Seifert, Heir Andaratei

Maps not clearing after reset

I literally cannot get my bearings in new areas, every marker wiped, all progress lost. Often this is a frustration just to find the way to simple places like, the herbalist or, the alchemist. Despite my character being there, rping making a map, and marking the IC IG map it is cleared every reset.

I just want to use the in game map to help with navigation, as i am a new player and 0 context results in me basically leashing myself to others and traveling far far away , and despite me marking the maps even then, to gain some level of independance, the map is reset

A map would help alot, and if we dont use the IC IG map people will seek OOC maps or make maps, this just feels unnecessary as we have an ig map. please let us use it.

This is a NWN engine problem, not sure if it can be fixed server/module side.

I do agree its a huge deficiency though.

A very minor thing, but it would be a neat touch if the drow NPC in the drain could recognise and/or have dialogue options for PCs from Eberron, particularly drow/half-drow PCs, since he hails from the setting. Will add a little bit of flavour to the NPC and make him feel less a placeholder.

There’s no practical way to do this since the system can’t recognize what percentage or part of an area your character has discovered. And if it were possible it’d be an insane amount of data to store on your character, considering we have some 2000 areas.

Would it be possible for the "Safe" Areas (Those that are not directly linked to Dungeons.) To be always fully explored. Things like Vallaki itself or the entire of Ramulai/Port-A-Lucine. To somewhat help people when finding where places are.

There are map items for some areas you can purchase which make them always filly explored while held in the inventory.

A minor thing but having Baleful Polymorphs renamed to the name of their polymorph shape might be nice.

Is it possible for bullets with magical properties (like ice or fire) to remain in vendor shops? I notice that these get auto cleared from the vendor, presumably not to clutter, but it would be nice that these could remain as they aren't like tarnished wedding bands and actually have a use to some players.

Big Quality of Life for casters:

Storeable and reloadable spell book configurations. (save your current spellbook setup, and reload it again later.)

Storeable spell action queues (all the buffs you want to cast can be set to the action queue with a two clicks, click to select spell action queue, click to select target)
Note: This is not suggesting instant casting of buffing spells or offensive spells, just a QOL that allows the action queue to be built instantaneously, you character will still need to cast each spell individually and that will always take time.

I believe there was a thread about this recently and it was turned down due to performance issues or because it relied on NWNX.  It would be nice, though.

I guess without a DEV's answer it would be hard to say why, do you have a link to the other post?

I'm not sure why we would shy away from NWNX, this server relies on it heavily I'm pretty sure.

Please, consider increasing Withering Woe's availability, either as spawn area, spawn season, or % in the current areas/season.
The Potent true sight potion with its max DC is already not such an appealing recipe (except for XP), and having to gather the withering woes in a restricted area during only one season makes it incredibly inpractical.

In comparison, the Ethereal visage potion, with same DC, is made of herbs which are all fairly easy to gather (banshee's daybed perhaps being the most difficult one, but it can be found in multiple regions in multiple seasons).

Pretty please?

It doesn't need NWNx, just NUI. There's several implementations on the NW Vault.  I wouldn't say I particulatly care for them as most are pretty rough, but it's definitely doable.

The practical side is storage on the server side since you have to put those lists somewheres.  I don't think this is an unsolveable problem though.
