Walk Unseen breaks in the last room of the Crypts

Where:
Western Outskirts - Ancient Burial Grounds - Catacombs (Last Room)

When:
While having Walk Unseen active and standing or walking in the Last room of the Crypts

What:
For some unknown reason, the Invisibility Effect of Walk Unseen will be randomly removed/dispelled when you are in the last room of Vallaki's Crypts. There is no roll check. No active dispell. It just... goes off, for no reason.

Recreate:
Cast Walk Unseen. Go into the very last room(s) of the dungeon.

Ideas:
No clue. Never had that happen anywhere else on either of my Warlocks. The Crypts are the ONE place it happens, and it's specifically in the last room.

Sure an invisibility purge isn't going off behind the walls or something? Might not see it.

Sure an invisibility purge isn't going off behind the walls or something? Might not see it.

If there is one, there's no indicator of it. As said, there's NOTHING indicating why the Invis drops. You just... lose it.

Have noticed this in the harakir troll canyon as well, with any invis/concealment effects. Despite invisibility purge having not been cast.

I'm fairly sure the Desert Troll casters put up Invisibility Purge...

They do, it creates a 10 meter zone that removes invisibility from anything entering it lasting 1 turn/lvl. As it's so underutilized people may be under the impression that it works more like dispel, in that after it's cast it's over? I'm just guessing, but that could be causing some confusion. You don't have to see something cast it for them to have it active.

Anyway, if there are clerics around and your invisibility is going away, that's what is happening.

I am aware they cast it. Hence why i added this little addendum.
I've seen it vanish when there weren't even any casters.

This bug seems to be caused by being detected by ai while in walk seen invisability instead of ai chasing you it purges invisability the way to recreate it you can do following

Use walk unseen
pick something up near ai

it seems to count act of picking things up and sometimes some random actions as offensive actions that purges invisability

Thanks I read the thread it seems the changes are regarding picking stuff up as far as I can understand with the experience in crypt seems like it was being lost without touching anything so that still would benefit from being looked at .

There is a (small) chance that the spawn went for you and detected you while invisible due to this script.

Issue was that invisability was dispelled rather than the hits happening as regular and i have no other explaination for this with the information you have provided other than it being a bug that needs to be looked into .

I've looked into this and can't see anything specific to Walk Unseen; it works exactly like Invisibility.
