Art Competition: The Fruits of High Summer!House de Sauvre presents...An Art Competition to Celebrate Summer!We invite one and all to come to fair Dementlieu and join us in a celebration of summer! It is a time to admire the beauty of of the season at its height, before the gradual darkening of autumn. We also invite all artists to come and offer us their perspectives on the season, as well as possibly win prizes and patronage!The Competition:We ask each artist to present an authentic exhibit or painting centred around the theme, "The Fruits of High Summer". Artists must register with Sieur Dorian de Sauvre, writing to the Governor's Hotel, Port-à-Lucine.A panel of judges shall then determine the three artistic productions that most authentically represent the theme.The first-placed winner shall receive a prize fund of 20,000 solars, as well as first pick from a prize pool below; the second-placed winner shall win 10,000 solars, as well as second pick from the prize pool; the third-place shall receive 5,000 solars and third pick from the prize pool; and finally, the fourth-place runner up shall receive a last pick from the prize pool.The Prize Pool to date includes the following rare prizes and valuable antiques: - One scroll of the Illusion spell, Shades - One set of Lotus Greaves - A Belt of the Swordsman - A Helm of Nobility - A Courtier's Obi - A Crusader's Helm - A Ring of Blackbird's Promise - An Enhanced Ring of Resistance - A Herbert's Ring of ResiliencePlease REGISTER by Friday the 8th September in writing to Sieur Dorian de Sauvre at the Governor's Hotel.Entry is free! We hope to see you there!All contestants are expected to dress according to Mordentish custom, and to present works of art in good taste; any artist or work of art violating these conditions may be removed and told to leave at the sole discretion of the hosts.Arists are not expected to speak Mordentish, but all exhibits will be displayed with title, description, and name of the author, in Mordentish.
