Reimbursing Machine, Capped Level Bug

Hello,

I used the reimbursing machine on my Level 20 character, and got messages like this:







Everything looks fine right? I got nearly 17000 XP back from reimbursing machine according to the messages. But then, I did enchant my boots with different materials, I returned to level 19 again which I shouldn't have.

Plus, despite I am level 19 now, I have this resting message, as if I'm still 20:




How could we fix this, and how could I take the XP back? Thanks in advance.

This is exactly what I was afraid might happen if I used the reimbursing machine first.

The same thing happened to me.  It seems like the additional experience credited beyond level 20 was not being counted. Furthermore if you un-enchant equipment from level 19 to push beyond 20, when re-enchanting the equipment the character becomes fully experience capped.

This is unintended, our tests seemed to demonstrate this was working. We'll see what can be done to remedy this, in the meantime hail a DM to be bumped back to level 20.

For what it's worth, I had a character that hit level 20 after reimbursing his FIRST item, and then reimbursed a second item.
I made it a point NOT to take level 20 and instead kept the level-up icon there. I also did not rest.

After reenchanting, I went down to around where I was before using the machine.

This may be part of the puzzle. I rested and took the level before enchanting again to remove it.

Exactly, gonna say it too: I had a levl 19, got the reimbursement, foresaw the nullified cap (because I had hit the lvl 20 once) and avoided leveling up or resting for whole two days while I was looking for the people to craft my armor and enchant it.

This is not a fix, BUT:

If you character hit lvl 20 because of the reimbursement, don't level nor rest, and you probably will not suffer the red cap.

I've found the cause and will fix it next update.

This should now be fixed so enchanting will properly drain the "crafted" XP bank rather than the regular one, even if you've used the machine prior to this update.

This is amazing news. But I did finish my enchantments before this update. So I believe I won't have my XP back that's why? Is there any chance I got it back?
