Character cannot level up (no apparent reason or error message)

My character cannot level up, tried a dozen times. There are no yellow error messages, and the class has no feat reqs. Pressing 'okay' on final level up confirmation after picking everything simply does nothing.

Character: Tereza Savulescu
Level up: from 9 to 10
Class: Sorcerer
Race: Feytouched (human)

If you are playing on the preview .36 build, that will prevent you from finalizing the level up. You need to go back to the stable .35 if so.

This has nothing to do with server version, it's your own game version. It's a known issue with patch .36; you need to revert to patch .35.

Ah, I had no idea NWN had even updated to some experimental version. Must've been Steam on automatic. I'll revert back to previous one. Thanks!

I have reverted via steam betas to 35, 34, and now 33, and character still won't level up.

Edit: tested also on versions "development" and .19.

Reverting to earlier game versions will not be of any help and cause more problems.
At this point I suggest that you just uninstall, clear all files and reinstall.

Thanks, trying that. Uninstalled, set to install on .35, and before that manually deleted all folders.

Unfortunately, did not help.

Uninstalled, Deleted files including all haks, redownloaded, totally clean install with 8193.35 build, does not level up still.

Since clean reinstalls and using the old version have not worked, is there anything else I can do? Other than wait for possible fix? I can shelve the character in the meanwhile. Is there something I could test here instead?

Is it possible there's some issue with the feytouched template etc instead?

Do you get any yellowtext message on the failure to level?  I find it strange you get none at all.  This sounds like a bug, unfortunately.

Our systems don't interact with the actual level up process, what happens is you level up, then lose XP and revert back. It would be helpful if you could screenshot your combat log and share it here.

Additionally, make sure you have unsubscribed from all Steam workshops.

I've managed to duplicate this on the test server, and to fix it, you'll have to delevel to 1 then relevel. You can contact a DM in-game for that.
