The four animation sets included from the ACP for unarmed, those being @animation 6, 7, 8 and 9, are still frequently playing the vanilla unarmed animation attacks, in between the new animation sets. For some animation sets this is less jarring, such as number 6, (Sun Fist). But for others such as 8 (Dragon Palm) and 9 (Bear Claw), these look quite bad. They are extremely offputting when they play, as they completely mangle the actual animation sets. If memory serves from the last time I saw these animation sets, the vanilla punch and kick animations are removed entirely when using these, as they don't flow into the new 'idle' animations correctly.
My assumption is that the implementation of the ACP hasn't disabled the vanilla unarmed animations and so these will randomly play throughout a character's combat sequence. These should be disabled, because right now they look quite bad. I've compared them to all of the other combat animations and none of these play any of the vanilla combat swings anymore, by comparison.
EDIT: I've begun testing various race/gender/pheno combos. This appears to be inconsistent across the various races. Male Half-Orc for example plays some of the ACP unarmed animations perfectly with none of the vanilla animations visible. Male Dwarf and Male Human suffer from this bug. Will update once I've done more thorough testing across all race/gender combos I have.
Human Male - Animation 6, 7, 8, 9 all play inappropriate vanilla unarmed strikes.
Dwarf Male - Animation 8 and 9 has inappropriate vanilla unarmed strikes.
Elf Male - Animations all seem to work fine. (Need someone else to verify.)
Gnome Male - Animation 9 has inappropriate vanilla unarmed strikes.
Half-Orc Male - Animation 9 has inappropriate vanilla unarmed strikes.
Human Female - Animation 9 plays inappropriate vanilla unarmed strikes.
Dwarf Female - Someone else test this, don't have one.
Elf Female - Animation 9 plays inappropriate vanilla unarmed strikes.
Gnome Female - Again, someone else test this.
Half-Orc Female - Yep you guessed it, someone else test.
