Garda Horn

The Garda NPC seem to not be blowing their horn when attacked by PCs.

I don't need the shade when you don't know the context this happened under. I should've just sent the report to a DM directly.

You're right, sorry, those NPCs can be quite aggressive.

Initiative suggests initiation but maybe the garda just rolled lower than yours. How they attacked / were attacked by probably affected what their horns are triggered by, is what I wanted to point out with a short quippy sentence. Being controlled by a player/DM at the time also might override it.

That is a good point. I mainly wanted to make this post cause I felt bad having the horn not go off. I DMed a player garda in the moment but I said I would also make a bug report, I probably should've followed up more with the player garda as well.

I think the specifically don't call out the horn if they are initiating the conflict, but I might be wrong.
No idea if this is intentional or a bug.

Is this a call for us to "test" murdering garda NPCs? Eh? Eh??

As a guard player, I know that we have had issues with the horn in the past. And it has been fixed and maybe/possibly bugged out again. There have also been other bugs with it. And if you see a bug please, please report it so it may be fixed. I would also encourage players to follow the rules and if they plan on attacking NPC guards to do it when a DM is present or don't do it at all.
