Malek’s Abrinichiev
The Life Long Case

Its been a while since I written something that was not around patients but I feel now is the time to use free time.
I normally fail in recording and committing to things that are regarding myself but this time I am going to try an new theory that I believe will work.
I am going to pretend I am writing as a patient... A risk considering people may find out such but nevertheless, lets enrol on my new chapter.

A brief background check on myself as this is always needed...
Who am I?
A question one will struggle to answer depending on the day...

So lets start some facts about the past?

When I was a much younger man I was a model for expensive noble suits. I was classed as a charming and handsome man back in them days.
A few years later I earned enough to go into private education.
I influenced my way in merchant trades, I always had a good way of getting a solid price for things.
I also became a doctor or a professor depending on who and where I was.
Before I came to new lands I was on a ship, a lovely private one with a lot of materials to sell, I believe it was some sort of pirates before we hit the mist

This was such a long time ago and since I been living in various lands in this misty and unforgiving land.
I have kept myself to myself for a long period of time but now I feel its time for a bit of a change.
I tend to spend most of my recent time in Port Lucine, though since losing a friend I thought I will restart my ways and return to the cold and evil part of Barovia and work around these lands.

I do have one open case I am supporting at the moment in this area, a Caliban and she is interesting for the time being. Though my main objective right now is to resettle and maybe enjoy some of the small things and maybe spread some good while I am here.

Cheap fights and conflict is something I plan to avoid, though we will have to see how long that goes.
While I use the word cheap, I did have a cheap stay inside one of the many morning lord temples. Though I do miss a good bed and a lovely warm fire with a spot of hot tea on the side, the place actually was quite relaxing.

There was also a person who did charm me inside the temple.
I actually seen her outside and I would be telling a lie if I did not eye up her figure in the lovely long dress that she had on. A rare find for this neck of the woods.
I used the night time as an excuse to follow her into the temple.

It would be rude to treat her as a patient but I cant help myself when I am writing these notes right now.

Human
Female
Middle age?
Slim but sturdy frame

The lady is a human female known casually as Vela, She looks middle ages and has very eye catching eyes. Vela seems to look after herself very well and does care of her look as I have noticed some makeup that glows on her face.
She was very welcoming and seems to have a good heart in truth, she likes to help people for the greater good though I believe she has a very dark sinister side.
She does have some faith and I found that interesting but not surprising, what I did find surprising is how she had not found romance in these lands... I know she was not looking but when you look a certain way and have charm in your eyes and the smile she carries, you would think she would.
Perhaps she has and kept it secret for now as she seems a touch coy sometimes.

It felt strange to spend so many hours talking to a stranger that felt by the end of the night we would not be strangers again. I got to hear a little about her background before these lands and some of the secrets that she has in regards to the sinister side.
There was also the case that I offered her dinner sometime... I may have took advantage of being fed breakfast from a ration pot.
I did not wish to say it as the gesture was lovely but the food was from the inn across the path and it did not taste the best.
I am curious if this woman sticks around and if she does, lets see how we get on as people.
This lady does have a lot of the same skill sets as myself and she was educated, I found very fascinating and it complimented her charm.

Next few days I will be staying around these lands and taking the life slow.
Then I will review it myself and perhaps move on again.

Last few days have been rather slow

I had done a little research checking for office locations for some of my work but so far I think its not safe enough to claim what I want.
This same day I ran into Vela who I hope has safe travels as she was going further out in the land and did state she was coming back.
She did look good on the eyes once again.

One of the other days I ran into a supply of cloth that I could use to make me look dashing or rough... I have not thought what outfit or look I want to go for yet.
Speaking about looks, I was watching someone from a distance a weird yet secret sneaker look was going on for one on the outskirts.
She was looking as gloomy as the lands but this did not stop me approach the person later in the evening.

The woman who was walking around with a peg leg around the outskirts was sat in the far corner, she was not wearing her headgear...
She was a sight alright.
The woman known as Arizima Prethrab had a face of woman with a rich and painful history. She had scar tissue, tattoos and a drunk sorrow look on her face. In fact she was ugly for the most part.
Arizima’s personality was not as intimidating or as ugly as her face. In fact I found myself to enjoy her company over the evening. Ugly is not unattractive though as her history and potential was still there.

This woman was once married though I did not divulge into that area to much as she was already semi drunk and looking very fed up.
This widow of the lands who clearly likes a strong drink explained to me about her markings over her face and the culture of the people of Mulani of Hazlan. I would say that her people don’t have tattoos for no reason though unlike others who only get them to scare folk or show of there local artist
It is surprising when you look at her but when you hear her story and learn a little of her habits, you can tell she went from riches to rags. A former noble who had servants and various attires is now nothing more than another survivor who is oddly working a honest job around the lands.
A woman without ambition is no woman at all.

I have tried to give this woman some goals and ambition but only time will tell us if she takes it up.
Maybe something can fire her heart back up.
The Main Goal Set
Go fishing – A task she once did with her father and one thing that did give her joy.
The good thing about this goal is it will have to make her sober up and this is something I think I can work with.
I may even give a reward in some old royal silk to remind her of old times if she completes

Day by day person by person.
Tonight was a calm but interesting night as I ran into El cub, who was my first traditional looking elf I have spoke too. He seems young eager and a hunter.
El seems very eager to meet people and can come across as a bit strange, young energy is always a positive but the odd time you do get a headache. He seems harmless and a fair elf.
Loud and yappy and quite nice...
That same night I seen Vela who was looking rather nice as always.

I walked over hoping me and El could join the table so I don’t have to answer all the elfs curious questions about my personal side of life and I know he only was curious and very interested in learning, he may have caught me on the wrong day.
I got a very cold response from Vela...
She declined the offer, put her hood up and started to walk away. Looking through me like I was some drunk after attention.
I was disappointed to say the least. I muttered her name, yet it still took her a while to remember who I am. She recalled me being the person that owed her dinner. Perhaps she only recalled me as she knows there was something she could claim like a fancy dinner... Maybe I was over thinking it.
Though when someone has the conversations we had, to forget your face and call you friend the next moment is a bit of a cold and deep hit on a mans ego.
El went upstairs right after the cold response she gave, almost to much to handle for his young brain right now.

It seems Vela who had work in the morning did not wish to give me any details in what and where she was going. Its seems she has became distant.
A shame really as potential has been damaged.
