Lesser Shadow Wolves don't drop shadow residue

As the title says, Lesser Shadow Wolves don't drop anything, compared to everything else within the shadowed forests. Even shadow rats (Which are weaker then the wolves) drop shadow residue.

Could this be changed?

I can't imagine what reason that would be, considering there are other forms of Shadow Animals present that also drop Shadow Essences, such as the rats.

There's definitely a reason! A little experimentation will reveal some differences between the wolves and the other creatures in the forest. A hint: try platinum.
