Crafting not recognizing multiple arrowhead templates
« on: February 23, 2023, 03:28:32 PM »
Where:
Dvergenheim

When:
After using a 20/20 steel ingot bag on the anvil, and then using a 20/20 arrowhead template. (Both alchemical and standard have same issue). Try to use hammer on the anvil to smith.

Edit: Buying 5 singular arrowhead templates, adding them to anvil and then a 5/20 steel ingot bag produced the same results.

What:
The crafting initiates and then cancels because improper materials. If you remove a template from the anvil, and then replace it, it recognizes it. You have to do this for each time, multiples did not seem to work.

Recreate:
Arrive at anvil (only attempted in Dverg), use ingot bag on anvil, use template bag on anvil, attempt to smith with hammer. Recieve error.

Ideas:
I had issues smelting, recieving iron bars instead of steel as well, maybe similar issue with bags of coal?

After placing the ingots and templates into anvil, craft one arrowhead and then remove it from anvil, after doing this you should be able to craft another arrowhead. Dunno why this happens with arrowheads.

That is because the arrowheads are not a finished product, they are counted as crafting components by the system. So when they are left on the anvil, the crafting script detects a crafting component, tries to match it with other components on the station to complete a smithing recipe, but there is no smithing recipe requiring crafted arrowheads, so it returns the improper or lacking crafting ingredients in crafting station error.

This has to do with the way the system was scripted and there is no workaround for this alas.
