As the title describes.
After logging back in without a server reset in the interim, I was shunted to the East Barovia side of the mist passage and was rendered unable to move. Nothing would fix it - not @seatme, not bartering, not talk-to, not attack actions. I was completely paralyzed until subdued.
It doesn't seem like it's very likely to recreate, but if one were to try, it would be to log out somewhere in East Barovia without having entered Tser Pool or having rested in an inn room. This seems like a rather problematic bug that could be very inconvenient in future.
