EVENTS AT SHOTARU'S ROKUMAN DELIGHTS
Shotaru's Rokuman Delights is home to many events all of which are held in our indoor arena. These events include: art, sports, and commerce. Some of our events include:
Market Day ~ Shotaru's Rokuman Delights supports commerce! We invite all merchants to sign up for our Market Days. During Market Day the indoor arena is used for merchants to place their wares on display. Days before the event we release a newsletter and advertise for all the merchants involved. If you are interested in participating in our market day please leave a letter for Katayama Yasutsugi at Shotaru's Rokuman Delights.
Grand Auction ~ Every couple of months Shotaru's Rokuman Delights hosts a Grand Auction for all to attend. This is a consignment auction where others will put up their items to be auctioned at a commission. If you are interested in participating or attending one of these auctions keep your eyes out for when they are announced.
Sumo Wrestling & Kendo ~ Rokushima-Taiyoo is known for it's vast disciplines of martial prowess and arts. Occasionally Shotaru's Rokuman Delights will show these displays for entertainment. Sumo Wrestling is the favorite sport of all six islands; but in addition to being an athletic display it is also a true wrestling martial art that all Samurai are trained in. Kendo is a form of 'fencing' and uses wooden swords to display martial prowess and skill.
Poetry Workshop ~ Occasionally, Shotaru's Rokuman Delights also hosts poetry nights where poetic expression is celebrated. All types of poetry is accepted and we are proud to display Rokuman haiku on occasion. In accordance with Dementlieuese law all poetry performances are to be conducted in High Mordentish. If you are interested in participating or spectating a Poetry Workshop, keep your eyes and ears open for our next one!
Catering ~ Shotaru's Rokuman Delights is more than happy to cater your event! If you need a place to host, or food to serve you can count on us. If you are interested simply leave a letter for Samurai Katayama Yasutsugi to arrange a meeting for further details.
