Longer lasting emotes?
« on: January 31, 2023, 05:55:25 PM »
Isn't there a way in the options menu to make your emotes last longer or at least not be so short? So, lets say I sit down, I wont get right back up after a few seconds?

Do the emote and move an item in your inventory.  This used to be the method back in the olden days, though Beamdog may have fixed it for EE.

If you use the command line @ emotes, you can set a duration in seconds.  For example, sitting is @emote 7, but if you type @emote 7 30, your character will sit for 30 seconds, then get back up.  You can set the duration to 0 to loop the emote.

@emote# # #

First # = the emote number
second # = how long, if you do it for 99 it should last a while
third # = how fast.

For example: @emote 9 30 will set the duration for 30 seconds. @ emote 9 0 will loop the emote.

It still works, I do it sometimes rather than looking up the emote numbers.
