The Van Couvenhoven Society of Adventurers is seeking talented and scholarly individuals to assist with the great undertaking of discovering, recording, and experiencing the histories and mysteries of the core! Our guild of adventurers is looking for only the finest to make up our ranks. That being said I want to make our mission statement very clear:

We are an academic group who are interested in the study of culture, history, and mysteries of the lands we visit. We are NOT interested in participating in politics of the realm, changing the way of life for the citizens who inhabit that realm, nor are we interested in impressing any kind of morals upon the populace. Our endeavors exist purely to document and expand academic understandings of the world we live in. The spirit of our group is strictly scholarly though we are happy to help uncover lost historical artifacts for the people and return them to the most proper of hands. Our groups goals are primarily scholarly but we are not strangers to conducting business either.

The guild seeks talented and scholarly inclined individuals. Charlatans, simpletons, and the blood thirsty need not apply! If you are interested however in joining our guild please fill out an application below. These applications should be submitted to one of three locations for review: the Keep of the Dyad, The Bluewater Inn of Vallaki, and the Golden Wolf of Ghastria. If your application is accepted we will contact you and meet with you for an interview.

Signed,

Bartholomeus Van Couvenhoven; Founder of the Van Couvenhoven Society of Adventurers

The Van Couvenhoven Society of Adventurers is proud to announce its first major expedition to The Von Zeklos Keep due west of Vallaki. This expedition is set to take place on February eleventh after lunch time. This is an archeological and academic venture. The society is not interested in stowaways and we are especially uninterested in blood thirsty pillaging vagabonds. We will be taking our time, taking notes as they pertain to the cites history, and documenting the events there for our visit. If you are interested in the expedition and are not currently apart of the society; please fill out an application for pending approval.

The Keep of Von Zeklos.

The Van Couvenhoven Society will be holding its second meeting this week on Sunday February 5th prior to supper. We will be meeting in the Lady's Rest Inn to discuss: uniforms, the expedition to Von Zeklos Keep, and other business. Outsiders are allowed to attend and listen in; but we ask that participation in the meeting is held only to members of the society. Curious new membership is allowed to submit applications at this time! with a chance to introduce themselves at the end of the meeting! We hope to see those of scholarly inclination there!

Lastly, it is with regret we must declare that Narcissa Bogdan has been removed from the adventuring society as a result of more recent information. Our reasoning is in-line with the Vallaki Garda's reasoning for banishment. Which can be read about on notice boards throughout the city of Vallaki.

MEMBERS OF THE GUILD: We will be meeting at the Rustic Belvidere in the Von Zeklos outpost prior for a meal, discussion and planning, assigning jobs for everyone, and a nice lunch. The journey will begin at dawn as I believe traversing during the light of the sun will be most beneficial for us. If you have any questions for me, or would like to suggest a new member of the guild please do not hesitate to ask; I will not want to be making such decisions during the last minute.

The Van Couvenhoven Society will be holding its third meeting next week on Sunday February 19th prior to supper. We will be meeting at the White Lily located in the  basement of Houlgraves Bookstore to discuss: Concluding thoughts on the expedition to Von Zeklos Keep, our next expedition, Discussion on the expansion of guild business, and enjoying cookies and tea! Outsiders are allowed to attend and listen in; but we ask that participation in the meeting is held only to members of the society. Curious new membership is allowed to submit applications at this time! with a chance to introduce themselves at the end of the meeting! We hope to see those of scholarly inclination there! At this time the Van Couvenhoven Society would like to thank Doamna Carmen Ablescu; whom is a real gem for allowing us to use the space below the store, and the promise of cookies and tea!

It is unfortunate but it seems like every announcement has been coupled with bad news! Of course, as my wife used to say one bad apple does not mean all the apples are bad. It is with regret to announce that we will NOT be publishing any findings into the Vallaki Review until their status has restored in accordance with the Vallaki Garda. Troubling for everyone truly, but rest assured we will release our own publication on our current expedition which will include a discussion with the local Ezrite's who work tirelessly to battle the legions on such accursed land!

Last order of business: the guild seeks talented and scholarly inclined individuals. Charlatans, simpletons, and the blood thirsty need not apply!
