This is a paid position outside of the guard representing the interests of Vallaki.

It is respectable employment demanding one who is held in, and will maintain good standing in all things. It requires discretion and integrity, a pride in duty that will see one through the challenges of inhospitable terrain. This position is available only to the true born people of Barovia between the ages of eighteen and fifty in good health, knowledgeable in trade routes, who meet the standards of the municipality.

Instruction in horsemanship will be provided where needed.
Couriers will be responsible for the health and well-being of the animal within their care during assignments.
