"I am old and grey, and full of sleep.

It'd been too long since I'd visited the City of Lights, and to think I'd come to live there to resume my duties of the Faith. My health hasn't been fairing any better as I'd hoped in my years away to recover, and it seems to me that my role is to bear with what I have. My children can't take care of me any longer, and I wouldn't wish that upon on them to begin with.

I can't sit idle in the quiet countryside any longer, there is still much work to do.
I read of it in letters, hear of it in my prayers. Feel it in my heart.

Frankly, I'd like a word with whoever came up with the idea that age begets wisdom and incredible knowledge. As my choices have led to nothing but.. rootage and ignorance.

"Qui vivra verra."

.. and I plan to rectify my stillness, until it's my time to depart to the Shelter of Peace."
