[Elegantly designed invitations are placed around the Quartier Publique and Quartier Savant, written in common and High Mordentish.]
The civilized public of Port-à-Lucine is cordially invited to partake in a routine indulgence of
Afternoon Tea
All are welcome to join us in different cafés around the city for delightful hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and tea as well as good company and discussion. New faces and guests are welcome and encouraged to come and socialize among friends.
We will meet once or twice a week in various locations for no more than an hour for casual conversation, sometimes with a topic determined in advance. It can be anything from books of interest, to the newest trends in fashion, or the latest edition of L'Observateur.
There is no cost aside from local refreshments from whichever establishment which is chosen. All that is required to join us is good manners, civil dress, and an interest in meeting with lovely people.
Please forward any questions or concerns to Mlle. Éléonore Ambroiseux at the Governor's Hotel.
