As part of our ongoing revision of the Gothic Earth setting, we are rescinding the language rule requiring players to use a language slot to learn common. It is now left to the player discretion whether or not the character starts play knowing the trade tongue, or how quickly it learns it.
If you used a language slot to learn Common (first of, congratulations for respecting the previous rule), you may ask a DM to free the slot so you may learn another.
