For those of you unaware, the most recent Nvidia drivers for GeForce cards are absolutely whack.



All water, fx (like fog banks, spell graphics...), lighting, weather and even NPCs when targeted have been giving me crazy issues. I would rollback, but ignorant me chose this release to be a clean installation.

Yeah I updated mine and had that happen if you turn the graphics down low it seems to work. I got annoyed with it so I reset my laptop to a prior date

game options - graphics - tweaks - enable shiny water
disabling that fixes the water situation

game options - graphics - lighting - general shader quality
set to minimal seems to get rid of this

ambient occlusion is another that gives off wonky artifacts
potentially sharpen as well

Disorder:
"Device manager -> Display Adapters -> Properties -> Driver -> Roll back driver" was what saved me. This was truly painful to look at, despite I am not sensitive when it comes to looking at various colors and sparkly effects.
I highly recommend everyone to roll back.

Presumably this is an issue Beamdog needs to fix as opposed to NVIDIA.  Hopefully there'll be an upcoming fix.
