Request: Enable the Ignore Boards option

As the title says. I was checking the SMF's documentation right here and found that there's an option to ignore boards on the forum, but it's either not enabled, or I haven't noticed.
Could it be enabled, please? It says an administrator has to do it.

I would wonder, however, if the admin has the ability to choose which boards can be ignored and which cannot. Surely there are some boards that should remain seen regardless of choice.

From Neuwwwo's screenshot, ignored boards are still "seen," so that would not seem to be a concern.

I see. Misread. I would be in favor of this, be that the case, as it would make it much easier to track "unread posts" that one is interested in.

Agreed...seems to be the purpose.
A win all the way around because more prolific posters can post to their heart's content in their favorite threads without cluttering the bandwidth of others.
