For Half-Vistani characters it specifies under the Moon-Madness section:

"The madness part isn't enforced as to not make the character unplayable during that time period, but players are trusted with the responsibility of roleplaying the restlessness during that time period."

However, Currently in game during the full-moon, it clearly is still a mechanic, even though it specifies it isn't. It also was in broad daylight.

FYI that'll be in effect if the date is 13,14,15 for the month. It's a fun little quirk of playing a half-vistani and can really create some great RP opportunities for you.  I do think the wiki should be updated to reflect that though.

Anyone can update the wiki.  :)

For sure, I love RPing it out. But, just felt people should get an accurate understanding of the Mechanical aspects before signing up the character for it.

There’s a clear disclaimer when you create the character about the effects of Moon Madness.

The confusion perhaps is in the wording as I posted earlier. It specifies "The Madness part is not enforced as to not make that character unplayable during that time period."

While it very much is a mechanic and you cannot rest. Which is why I think it should be updated. Again, this is regarding mechanical aspects, not the roleplay versions of them.

Yeah, the restlessness is enforced, not the madness part. If we enforced the Madness part, you'd have no control over your PC over 3 in-game days. For reference's sake, here's the exact blurb you get before you confirm your choice of playing a Half-Vistani:

Quote
<StartAction>((OOC: Please note that Half-Vistani suffer from Moon Madness during the three in-game days and nights of the full moon, once each in-game month. For a duration of 7 hours, you won't be able to rest or regain spells. Click again to confirm.))</Start>

This is very clear.

Understood! Thank you! That was confusion on my part then. I thought the madness was the restlessness mechanically.

Don't gendarmerie have DrD levels, or is that a myth? That'd explain the 'demonic' sounds.

Violca in the Mist Camp has green lips. I suspect there was a swap with her tattoo colors. If it's intentional, then, no issue.

Werewolves and wererats keep spawning on the walls, especially on the Western Outskirts map where they kill the gate guards which makes it impossible for people to enter during the night.

Solution advice: We can give guards +1 silver weapons so they can kill the werecreatures

Silver weapons would be more realistic.

there are three problematic traps in Thot

One is the second in a long path where the swinging blades are. every time i see them and click to disarm them, the character walks too far activating it. speed is not a factor, i slowed myself down with hiding and searching and i walked in the trap nonetheless.

The other two are the ones on the stair platforms before the last room. cannot disable either of them if not by walking on top of them.

This is a perennial issue with Beguilers, not the traps themselves.

HOWEVER

I'll lower the Disable DCs on the final two curse traps (the problematic ones) so that Beguilers won't have to rely on the workaround to disarm them.

Contrary to what Lizuca tells us, Father Ilie does NOT offer removal of draining effects.
I'm now calling her "Lie-zuca"

I have noticed this a few times lately - bounties on the board in Port-a-Lucine don't actually exist. I think this affects those in the Quartier Marchand. Tonight there was the 'axe murderer' and the one that 'prowls the Widow's Walk' listed, but neither NPC was present at all. I checked the nodes where they usually spawn, and every nook in the rest of the district, too. They had not been killed already, as the area initialized as I entered it and it was only 8pm IG.

Entering Western Outskirts - Vallaki from the forest has randomly ported me to north western farms twice.
Glitch in the area?
