It's hard to believe it's been more then a year now since I was taken by the mists, ironic that my first adventure to prove to my father that carrying this name is not my only strength will also be my last. Not that I'll ever believe that you'll cease your search for me mother and father. I've had so much time to think about the way I left home, and how I wish it could've been different. Being told that you should never leave an arguement open just because you never get to see the other person again seems so unlikely, yet here I am stewing in my own regrets.

We've never seen eye to eye with how things should've been handled in Omu father, but I think if you were to see what I've done here and the things i've achieved. You would atleast be a little proud. After having my life saved by a Helmite by the name of Rodrick Silverblood I've taken to his cause and colours which feels right, Helm's faith and doctrine seems to fit me perfectly. Through Rodrick I learned of another man called Ramon a particulary grumpy follower of Kelemvor who looks at me and sees nothing but danger what the arcane can provide. Yet through our ventures we've grown close and fond of eachother and I'd hate to ever find myself without his rants and constant grumpyness. Is this what you did when you made your allies and headed down into the tomb? I wish you had been able to find more comfort in being able to speak about it rather then tucking it away.

They've both taught me much, many those of my abilities in the arcane are afraid of loosing their lives and would do much more just for a few years. But their examples have shown me that there is nothing to be feared. Their confidence in their gods has given me the confidence to truly believe in Helm and Kelemvor.
