Name: Mercantile upper limit bug

Where:
At the Mist Camp's Djordji as far as testing went.

When:
When attempting to sell items at the upper limit.

What:
In short: You don't receive the coin you are told you will when something is worth over 750gp.

e.g. The vendor offers ~1000 gold. You sell it and receive 750gp. The upper limit does not seem to increase alongside the offering. This limit doesn't appear to change, even after lately obtaining the third merchant feat, Seasoned Trader. See screenshots.

Checked by gold totals before and after and can verify earning 750gp, not 1095.

This also happens on other items worth more than 750gp;


The character has the feats:
Experienced Haggler
Mercantile Aptitude
Seasoned Trader

But again, if I recall correctly, before obtaining Seasoned Trader and after obtaining it, it seemed to be the same 750gp limit.

Recreate:
Sell more valuable items and watch your log.

Out of curiosity was someone else interacting with the store when you were selling? I've had a similiar thing happen a few times when other people opened his store after I did.

I spent 8100 gold essentially to try replicate this bug by buying the oddly insanely valuable asp nest throwing knives, after a fox cunning, and I was able to exceed his upper limit at a +3 intelligence modifier, no skill, so there must be another factor that's adjusting how you got your pricing.

I think maybe someone else interrupted your prices in this instance.

^ This is the most likely cause. If anyone opens the store after you, you have to reset and be the most recent person speaking to the merchant.

As far as I know, appraise and merchant prices are basically as vanilla here, and that's just a long standing bug with the game. I would like to see it fixed but I haven't got any ideas right now.
