A tragic event has unfolded, marked by murder. To the west of the Fields of Labor, along the Saniset Trail, the aftermath of an ambush has been uncovered. The carriages belonging to House Perzatis have been located, charred and devastated. The lifeless bodies of Lord Jharco Perzatis, along with his niece and nephew, lie bloodied and butchered in close proximity. Who could possibly be responsible for such a vile and criminal deed?

As news of the tragedy reached Nordenvall Village, Azadeh Perzatis emerged from her private room in the Dancing Crane in a panic, demanding to know the whereabouts of her husband, Jharco Perzatis. In a fierce denial of the rumors, she ran off out of the village on her bare feet through the mud and rain to see for herself what had happened along the Warlock Road. She arrived a mess, her fine dress torn and muddied from the road, vehemently demanding to see her husband. When she was finally brought to him, she collapsed onto his body and wept. Refusing consolation or to be separated from the body of her husband, the once cheerful young lady of Nordenvall now seems broken with grief.
