Traverse Flute : Not for short people
« on: September 16, 2021, 09:03:13 PM »
Hello there,

It seems the Traverse Flute, which you can buy at Port-à-Lucine, is not "meant" for short races like Halfling and Gnome, as they are a "Medium" sized weapon, which means these two races (and their subraces, of course) will hold said flute like a two-handed weapon, effectively breaking the way it's supposed to be handled. Furthermore, the @emote 21, used to play pipes, is also broken when using the Traverse flute since the hand holding it remains stuck in the Two-hander stance.

Was the flute made a Medium weapon by lack of option from a technical point or could it be changed into a Small or Tiny one for it to be properly used by smaller races?

We'll fix that in the next hak update; however, the animation itself doesn't officially support traverse flutes, it's designed for pan pipes mostly.
