Hexblade Arcane Resistance not working

Got hit by a sleep spell today from a friendly party member, but I was only saving at +2 despite having +3 Charisma modifer alone.

Strange. I've been playing a hexblade for a while and not noticed. Are you sure you don't have -1 Will base due to having 8 wis?

I think I've seen this bug happened when a nonhostile person uses spells on you (so friendly fire in a dungeon in most cases).  It's been a while though so I'm not 100% certain, and it was only a hunch or I was busy so I didn't report it at the time.

Well, my logfile of the incident seems to both confirm the OP and lend support to your explanation...

Was the dungeon a sinkhole, by chance?

I don't believe so. Just a regular old cave.

My guess is that it's a limitation of the Saves vs Spells. We've done some tests where Cloudkill for example didn't take the Saves vs Spells in to account at all.
