Robin Moreau - Rats in the Walls

Within the cover of a well-tended journal is written the name, Robin Moreau.

I have never been one to write my thoughts, but today something was revealed to me that makes me feel it is important to think through things and document my experiences. The supernatural creatures my countrymen label as the fancies of the superstitious and unenlightened are real. I've seen them with my own eyes. Walking corpses that sought only to kill. By extension, I imagine many of the other things I've heard of must exist too, including the wererats my father occasionally brought up after his trips to visit his relatives. If I find him, I'll have to apologize for thinking those were just frightening stories.

Now, I have to consider what this means. For now, I believe I will learn what I can about the restless dead I've already seen, a logical place to start.
