What this means, as an example, a quick back-of-an-envelope calculation tells me that the current Vistani ride of 200gp would go up to around 5600gp under this new system where prices are fractions of the total gold stored.

Erebus, does this mean you'll also increase the amount of locations that spawn platinum nodes in the module? I think it might be necessary, to help the NPCs ability to create the platinum coins.

I like the idea of dynamically adjusted prices to combat inflation. Honestly new gold sinks are unnecessary if certain essential services are dynamically priced. For example if the Vistani Caravan cost people even 1000 coins, that’s a lot of extra money out of everyone’s pocket; probably millions of coins a day removed from circulation.

Furthermore if resurrection prices are dynamically adjusted as well (so resurrections can cost more)... I think literally no further action would be required. Inflation would be a thing of the past.

Moving onto pets. I think that this is a different topic and should not be mixed in with the economics one. I personally don’t like the idea of pets, and think that it should be separated to its own topic; and discussed purely on its own merits.

I think Blaustein should have its own Pirate Bank since it is a Pirate Haven. There are many buildings there and some could be easily converted into a Pirate Bank area. Gives us Blausteiners and Pirate PCs a place to keep our goods.

Can even up the tax rate there as "Bluebeard's Cut".

All jokes aside, I am all for increasing the price of certain caravan and ferry trips to higher tier settings. Sithicus, Har'akir, Ghastria, Hazlan could all be more expensive destinations by caravan and boat. Could even jack it up more so that it pushes folk to carpool more!

Or a vistani bank where there's no taxes. But every week a little money is "accidently" misplaced.

there could be a storage in a house in mists you put money there and the amount you can pick up is randomized each week
