Greater Flame Snake Poison Glands are distilled into a type of fire essence. I believe one of these two things should be altered - whether the name of the ingredient or the end result, because as it stands, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Its just game logic, magical poisonous snake secretes poison that is highly flammable so poison can create flames.

Maybe so! This could be an interesting RP plot, a part of the recipe to finding the perfect alcoholic concoction.

May not be specifically ethanol but if its a poison thats going to induce blindness, hangovers, and general drunkenness it's going to be fairly effective still for the bite, not to mention increased blood flow so they're more likely to bleed out.
