Flesh to stone IMO should have the curse descriptor
« on: February 20, 2021, 11:22:45 AM »
Hi,

This is a spell that in my opinion is one of the most iconic curse-like spells in dnd. I understand that in 3e it does not have the curse descriptor, however it seems like it probably should. So I am suggesting that it be added to that spell in POTM.

That runs the risk of making Flesh to Stone pretty scary, tbh.

Flesh to stone has always been one of the biggest uncounterable win button spells. It can already achieve a high dc, I see no reason for them to tack on an additional 4dc by making it a curse.

It's not a curse if the victim does not actually labors under it. Being petrified in stone does not qualify.
