Wild shaping removes worn gear from carried weight
« on: February 05, 2021, 06:02:35 PM »
Name:
Wild shape creates a black hole in your inventory

Where:
During a dungeon crawl when I had to shapeshift often, I noticed that my load would lighten. At first I thought I had just miscounted but then it goes totally silly like minus carry weights.

When:
What conditions appears to trigger the bug. Does it happen when logging in? What is the frequency? Does it happen always - i.e. to all characters, in all areas, at all times? Or have you other times or locations where it does not seem in effect? It can at times even be useful if you remember what the time was in real life when you noticed it, as then we can look up the time in the server log (but please convert it from your local time to UTC (universal time zone)).

What:
Reduces your carry weight infinitely if enough shapeshifting is done. It can't be stopped.

Recreate:
Be a druid, wear things, shapeshift a few times in a row.

Ideas:
No clue what is causing it.
Active Character: Heian, Catilia Calostin
Other Character(s): Gilraine Alean'ani, Lia Lanthaloran, Liu Suyin
Shelved Character(s): Vinyafael Yavanna
Closured Character(s): Rakel Leviken, Celeste Seifert, Heir Andaratei

I think theres a few like arlith that shows your carry weight as more than it should

I have had this happen to my druid as well, although it wasn't consistently occurring.

Yeah, it hasn't been consistent for me either - but now it seems to be.

I do have test server haks installed.

Name:Korin Oakhall

Where: Server

When: Reverting from wildshape

What: Armor weight is not reverted when changing back to normal form. this persists through rest and is only foxed on reloging

Recreate: wildshape and revert to normal.

Putting an intem into a bag or picking something up should fix this it's not really a bug but just more how the game does not update engine weight that frequently

You will encounter the inverse if you chuck a bunch of ingots into a smelter from a mining bag inside a magic bag.
