Detect Evil Feat items do not work

Simple one,

Items that add the Detect Evil feat can't be used because the feat power can't be accessed without having the Paladin radial menu

Unless I just totally don't get how to activate Detect Evil from like the feat menu or something, if someone could let me know if they have actually gotten one of these to work that would be great.

Yeah, that feat shouldn't be applied to items. Know which items have it?
