That a meeting of the Council of Brilliance to discuss the issuance of

LETTERS PATENT

to various parties will take place on

22nd of JANVIER.

Those belonging to the noble orders of this Serene Republique are permitted to attend and observe, alongside those retainers sworn to them. Select parties will also be granted entry.

All who are of considered of the nobility, be they titled, nobles by blood, or nobles by law, are encouraged to speak either for or against those seeking letters patent. This is to ensure that the newly ennobled or titled exemplify what is expected from the peerage. Those speaking against petitioners will not be permitted to do so anonymously; they must speak out at the meeting or have their words read aloud by a clerk with their name attached, if they cannot be present.

If objections cannot be raised in a manner demonstrating the courage and valor of Leon's children, then whatever issues or faults exist with regards to the petitioner in question are small and negligible; either that, or the man or woman raising it is a craven and their opinions are beneath the Council of Brilliance's attentions.
