We at Martineau Maritime Acquisitions & Shipping Concern understand the severity of wage disparity in the Quartiers Ouvrier and Marchand, as well as what many common men and women are facing throughout the République during these hard times. In light of this, through our private military contractor, La Compagnie du Phénix, it is our mission to ensure those who serve under our banner are able to provide for their families for the risks they undertake. Thus, we announce that it those who sign on with us, will receive regular pay of 8 Solars per day during training as a Recrue, which will double to 16 Solars per day after completing training for a fully enlisted Soldat, or four hundred and eighty Solars per month payable on the 1st of every month. Furthermore, we will provide a 500 Solar bonus for passing boot-camp and becoming a fully enlisted Soldat. Full supplies, weapons, and armor will be provided to each Recrue from the Compagnie's treasury, as well as care from Compagnie physicians and chirurgeons in the event of work-related injury at no additional cost to the individual man.
We are currently recruiting for the ranks of our ESTELLIER GARDE, for which we are hiring and raising ONE HUNDRED SOLDATS, for a cadre entrusted with protection of the encampment of Estellier's construction and laborers. Those who sign on to our cause will be fed, housed, and supplied in full, as well as provided training and weapons to remain superior over foul bandits, criminals, and even the predilections of illegal Falkovnian slave-raids.

Those not natively born to Dementlieu must either already speak or be willing to learn to speak Mordentish fluently. Those applying within must be cognizant of, and be fully aware of the outlawing of the forbidden school of Necromancy, and thus be aware that on neither sovereign Dementlieuse soil nor abroad shall any individual be permitted to engage in such foul and profane acts whilst wearing the uniform of a Compagnie du Phénix Soldat. Those who apply must provide their full legal name, age, place of birth, and disclose any known or outstanding warrants or bounties within either our most Serene République de Dementlieu or within foreign territories. Those who apply must be willing to conduct themselves in a manner befitting an esteemed member of an enlightened and civilized society, and will be required to adhere to a strict uniform code of conduct espousing core Dementlieuse values and customs. Violation of Dementliieuse law will be prosecuted by MMASC and her subsidiaries to the fullest extent of the law, and those wrongfully accused will receive a solicitor on behalf of MMASC and her subsidiaries to provide your defense in court. La Compagnie du Phénix is a private military contractor and subsidiary company of Martineau Maritime Acquisitions & Shipping Concern owned and operated by the Dame d'Estellier as a private entity with no ties to the Dementlieuse Government, the Council of Brilliance, nor the Lady-Governor of Dementlieu. La Compagnie du Phénix is charter-bound to the defense of Estellier in the event of foreign invasions or domestic criminal activity, and is engaged and dedicated to the peacekeeping of Estellier and the surrounding regions, located on the Southeastern Musarde. Those who are employed by La Compagnie du Phénix will be permitted to resign at any time as a Recrue, however upon graduation to the enlisted rank of Soldat will be required to sign a six month contract of service before graduation and issuance of the 500 Dementlieuse Solar bonus, in order to ensure reliable service and protection of our properties. This contract is open to termination at any time by the employer, and if requested to depart service for personal reasons or otherwise, may be willfully terminated at an early date by the employer with no additional pay for the unfulfilled time of the contract under the conditions that La Compagnie du Phénix is not engaged in any outstanding military actions in the defense of Estellier or an external client's contract. All accrued supplies, arms, armor, and Compagnie-paid housing will be revoked upon cancellation of the contract, whether as a result of disciplinary action or willful termination at employee's request by the employer. Martineau Maritime Acquisitions & Shipping Concern reserves the right to decline any applicant or Recrue during the interview or training period with La Compagnie du Phénix under the grounds of unsuitable conduct, illegal activities, inability to adequately perform the duties of their station or inability to follow orders and maintain discipline under the Compagnie banner.
