Icegaunts don't come out of stealth (or whatever it is) when they attack you, even if they hit you with physical attacks.
You only get message "Someone attacks (player name): *Hit*...", over and over again.

Try leaving the area and baiting them to follow you. Several enemies in several areas do this, some more frequently than others, but it's an issue with the game and this is the only real fix. When you go through a transition, and they follow you there, they'll almost always appear.
Insatisfait permanent, c'est ça l'apanage du champion.

To clarify, this isn't a case of them being invisible visually as the bug where it shows no model but their name is visible with tab button.
Combat log says "someone" and doesn't give the enemys name, you can't see them by pressing a tab and they do not appear even after transitions.

Yep, a known bug. The workaround Sardine suggested does work most of the time. Sometimes you have to do it twice.

If it says "Someone" rather than the icegaunts name it might be an area related issue similar to what happens to the mummies in Harvest when they make it into the central room, or what happens when a players game is about to crash.

Which is a different variant of untargetable enemies bugs than the one where just the model doesnt render but the name still appears.

If it wasnt a case of ones' game about to crash, providing the area name where this occurred can help developers debug the issue.

The bug impinged the whole party.
There's only two or three dungeons with Icegaunts, All use the same tileset. All are in the Mt. Ghakis.
