Shadow Dancer: Minor Change
« on: October 24, 2020, 02:51:20 PM »
A very minor suggestion:

Shadow Dancing is a supernatural effect and presently there is little indication of that to anyone that can detect a shadow dancer when they use HiPs.

My suggestion is simple: apply a shadow shield VFX for the round HiPs is used to offer a clear visual indication to people with enough detect that the Shadow Dancer is doing something supernatural.

A more involved suggestion:

Making the summoned shadow appear to be the dancer's model with shadow shield VFX. Using the shadow presently in scenes stretches the imagination.

I agree to both, I don't know how do-able the latter is but it'd be awesome.

I'm curious as to how this will be implemented? I imagine this effect will/should end upon leaving stealth mode, if exited before 1 round (6 seconds) have passed?

These changes are in; there's a minor bug with the shadow that's been fixed temporarily but will be fixed later. The VFX is rather subtle and only visible to those who "see" the shadowdancer after he's stealthed.
