The Sacred Rose Is Taking Squires

The Order of the Sacred Rose is opening its ranks to new squires.

Those who would act honorably, love kindness, and walk humbly are welcome. Those who wish to strive in the Light will be embraced.

Postulants must be devotees of or converts to the Christ and must be in good standing with the Christ's Church and the local law. Those who do not take up faith in the Christ may be eligible for membership in our auxiliary.

Leave word for Vandryn Carro, Grandmaster of the Order and Prelate of the Church, at Warehouse Two, Vallaki.

Ours is an ecclesiastical order devoted to helping and defending those in need. Would-be soldiers or those with military ambitions need not waste their time.

It has been brought to my attention that Tara Farmer, of late declared outcast from Vallaki, claims to follow our sacred faith. My place is not to judge whether such is genuine. As such, I'm compelled to extend the benefit of the doubt, and as such, proclaim the following.

Be it known

For her questionable and detestable actions of late, witnessed by members of this Order and sacred Church,

TARA FARMER

is hereby and immediately declared

EXCOMMUNICATE.

She does not speak for the Christ's Church or the Order of the Sacred Rose, nor does she enjoy the privileges, protections, brotherhood, and sacraments granted to its members.

Be it known

That the Christ's Church and Order of the Sacred Rose declare that they will bring no harm to His Excellence's subjects. They reaffirm their friendship with the law-abiding folk of Barovia.

Furthermore, Church and Order must and do condemn the rebels, their allies, and their actions. The Church and Order shall provide neither comfort, nor aid, nor succor, nor any means of support to the rebellion.

The Order of the Sacred Rose denounces the many violent and disruptive acts committed against the folk of Vallaki of late, including those by the Wayfarer Kinship and necromancers.

The Order further reaffirms its commitment not to aid rebels or traitors; nor to harm the good, law-abiding folk of Barovia; nor to give succor to those who would harm such folk or Barovia's children.
