Spell Focus adds to Disguise?

Spell focus Illussion should give a +2 bonus per level to disguise self.

Just seems reasonable the spell should improve the more of a specialised illussionist you are.

That would end up being a +40 bonus to disguise on top of the spell's +10, right?
A high level bard with skill investment in Disguise, Perform, and Influence could easily exceed 100 Disguise, if this change were implemented, which would dwarf the meager +2 to DCs that the feat gives.
By holding an apprentice illusion staff (which conveys Spell Focus: Illusion) you wouldn't even have to invest a feat to gain it. Gnomes get Spell Focus: Illusion by default at level 1, additionally.

I think sticking to the spell as written in PnP is the best, here. The only part of its OG function that we can't replicate on the server is that when someone touches you while you're under the effects of Disguise Self, they get a Will save to see through it altogether.

I am under the impression that 'synergies' between skills work only once. How would the math even reach that high?
Playing: Maeldwen Erynaedh/Irach

I was under the impression that one received +1 per 5 levels in Perform or Influence, but I see this isn't the case. Even so, a +50 from Disguise Self at level 20, as a bard, plus 23 from skill investment on level ups, 5 or so from CHA bonus (buffed presumably), 2 from skill synergy, a few from Skill Focus-- with no Disguise gear implemented yet, that's still above 80.

Maybe the OP meant +2 to disguise per feat in the Spell Focus: Illusion line, which would mean +4 bonus to Disguise while casting Disguise Self, which is quite specific.

My good friend Marcus is quite correct.

Greater Spell Focus : Illussion would give +4 to the disguise bonus provided by the spell 'Disguise Self.'
Spell Focus Illussion would give plus +2. These would not stack.

I wasn't proposing anything more dramatic than that!

Out of curiosity, was this ever actually implemented? Considering half of the classes that have this spell are capable of taking Disguise as a class skill, I could see arguments either for or against it... though for my part, I have a vested interest in stronger Wizard Disguise for my next NCE concept...
